Sustainability is an important topic for C&A. Therefore, in 2017 C&A was pioneer in the market being the first worldwide brand that launched Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Gold Certified® T-shirts and the only brand which has achieved the highest standard with C2C platinum certification in the creation of a denim fabric. Offering Cradle to Cradle Certified® products to our customers is essential to achieve our Circularity target, as part of our Sustainability Strategy.

Cradle to Cradle Certified® is a holistic standard that verifies a product’s performance across five critical areas of sustainability: Material Health, Product Circularity, Clean Air and Climate Protection, Water and Soil Stewardship, and Social Fairness.
